One reply from your assistant, whether it is on your site, in your Shopify store, on a share link or in your dashboard chat. Length does not matter. What you type yourself during a handoff does not count, and a reply that fails before writing anything is refunded.

On Medium and Pro, each extra message costs $0.10, taken from a prepaid balance you top up $2, $5, $10 or $20 at a time. Your card is never charged per message. If the balance drops below $0.10, the assistant stops replying until you top up or your allowance resets. On the free plan it stops at 100; upgrade to keep going.

No. Medium and Pro start again from zero on your billing date. A top-up balance is different: it never expires.

Pro costs $75 more a month, which buys 750 extra messages on Medium. So if you regularly use more than about 1,150 messages a month, Pro is cheaper, and it also gives you 8 assistants and 5 knowledge stores.

Installing the app is free and you start on the free plan. Paid plans go on your Shopify bill: Medium comes with a 5-day free trial there, Pro has none. Shopify caps top-ups at $50 a month on Medium and $200 on Pro.

Yes, from the Billing tab of your account. On Shopify, upgrades apply as soon as you approve them and downgrades from your next billing cycle. Cancelling or downgrading never deletes your assistants, knowledge or conversations; you keep the paid plan until the end of the period you paid for.
